AUGUST 10, 4-7PM - THURSDAY Teen Center Open House 506 Sprinkle Street
First established in 2004, thanks to a Governor's Crime Commission Grant, the Teen Center was housed on Piedmont Street until the current building held its grand opening in November of 2007. In 2022, an NC Arts Council grant gave the facility a new, updated look with painted peace poles that welcome teens ages 10-17 inside and beautifully painted spaces within to help make activities, including doing homework, fun. We will also be accepting donations for a School Supply Drive at the event.
